SLS provides free of charge education to contracted facilities.
Laser Education Program
We can provide your hospital or office staff with a complete in-service on laser equipment used within your facility. In-services help assure the safety of your staff and your patients, satisfy JCAHO requirements, along with giving you the tools necessary for quality patient outcome. In-services will be tailored to your individual needs and will help keep your staff up-to-date on changes in technology and the newest procedures. Courses are based on ANSI & AORN standards and include topics such as:
- Laser biophysics and tissue interactions
- Laser safety standards
- Effects and characteristics of laser wavelengths on tissue
- Current treatment modalities with lasers
