Since 1986 FMS, has been specializing in fluid delivery systems and has been awarded three worldwide patents, which are incorporated into the FMS ENDO.

The FMS ENDO will efficiently:

 •  Reduce surgical time

•  Increase visualization

•  Reduce irrigation use

•  Reduce tubing costs by allowing half the tubing to be used all day

The FMS ENDO is o ne of the safest systems on the market with its pressure delivery very similar to gravity-created pressure. The FMS ENDO replaces fluid as it outflows from the bladder to maintain continuous and accurate preset-pressure regulation. If the outflow is blocked, the inflow stops once the preset pressure is attained. The FMS ENDO was designed to bring to surgeons, with simplicity, all the features they need to perform a better and faster Urology procedure.

Cost containment is a universal problem in the health industry. When considering use of the FMS ENDO, please carefully consider the following intangible cost savings that the FMS ENDO system brings to patients, surgeons, nurses and housekeeping staff:

PATIENT

The FMS ENDO is a safer system that controls both pressure and flow independently, and reducing fluid absorption during TURP and other Urology procedures.

SURGEON

The FMS ENDO has automatic control of flow to compensate for the loss of distention. Clear visualization allows for 100% work time, rather than waiting for the field to clear, when bleeding, bubbles or debris obstruct visualization. The FMS system reduces the number of manipulations during the procedure thus reducing surgery time. In addition, the FMS system works in conjunction with laser procedures (including the Greenlight laser technology), to facilitate more efficient delivery of the laser energy and aid in removal of ablated tissue.

SCRUB NURSES

The FMS ENDO eliminates the need for manipulation of traditional suction tubing, clamps, or remote controls, thus allowing the scrub nurse to focus on assisting the physician during the procedure.

CIRCULATING NURSES

The FMS ENDO greatly reduces the time spent changing irrigation bags, and also eliminates the need for raising/lowering of the bags to control pressure and flow. The day set irrigation tubing (Ref# 4603) can be set-up prior to the patient being in the sterile field. Once the system is set-up, the day set irrigation tubing can be left attached to the system, thus reducing set up time in subsequent procedures.

CLEANING CREW

Housekeeping staff can facilitate a faster turnaround of the Operating Room, because there is less chance of spillage on the floor.

All these features combined result in a lower level of stress and frustration (for all parties involved), providing for a better working environment and therefore increasing productivity!

The FMS ENDO Fluid Management System can be purchased outright with no further obligation, or placed free of charge with a signed tubing contract.

FMS EQUIPMENT SUPPLIES

The following two items will be delivered and set up at the facility, and will remain in place at the facility for one year upon signing of a tubing contract. This contract will automatically renew each year, unless withdrawal of the unit is requested in writing by the facility. The FMS ENDO pump and foot pedal will remain the property of FMS and/or SLS. All repairs due to maintenance or regular use will be the responsibility of FMS and or SLS. The facility will assume responsibility for repair or replacement due to theft, negligence, or intentional damage to the unit or foot pedal.
